  The irony is that in fact real estate agents have absolutely nothing to do with the legal process of real estate transactions!  Real estate agents only market the property for the Seller, something that most people are fully capable of doing themselves.  The only legal aspect performed by a real estate agent is when you sign a contract with them to pay a commission, and sign away your hard earned money!  The final legal process is always taken care of by a lawyer, and is always arranged by the Buyer and Seller.

  Using $150 000.00 as an example Sale Price, if you hire a real estate agent you would receive only $138 845.00 for your property, property that is worth $150 000.00!

  What could you do with $11 155.00?  You might buy a new vehicle, buy new appliances for your next home, take a vacation, buy a boat, or a cottage, etc. etc. etc. Perhaps you would put it toward a debt – a car loan or credit card debt.  Even better, you could put it toward the down payment/equity of your next home and mortgage.
